The invention relates to a device for the detection of water in oil, in particular lubricating oil, comprising an optical indicator element (4). The invention also relates to a method for the detection of water in oil, in particular lubricating oil, by means of the device. It is proposed that the indicator element (4) can be wetted by a continuous oil flow (F). It is also proposed for the method that after a color change a dry oil flow (F) is led past the indicator element (4). |
