abstract The invention relates to a process for doping HTiO with at least one metal atom, the process comprising at least the following process steps: (i) providing a solid mixture comprising titanium dioxide TiO, sodium carbonate NaCO and at least one metal oxide other than titanium oxide; (ii) calcining the process step (i ) solid mixture obtained; (iii) bringing the calcination product obtained in process step (ii) into contact with at least one Broensted acid, the metal oxide comprising at least one metal atom with which the HTiOdotation is to be doped and which is not titanium.
