abstract The invention relates to a system 100 and a method for the precise determination of a concentration or a particle density of a gaseous or atomized decontaminating agent, in particular a decontamination agent comprising hydrogen peroxide. In particular, the present invention provides a system 100 and method which, in comparison with previous systems and devices, does not require the calibration of specific gas sensors or chemical sensors for the measurement of hydrogen peroxide concentrations. As a result, the present invention allows malfunctions or inaccuracies of a sensor calibration to have no influence on the quality of the concentration measurement.
