The invention relates to a thermal system (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e), in particular a thermal management system, of a motor vehicle. The system (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e) has a refrigerant circuit (2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e) with a compressor (5), a first refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger (6) operated as a condenser / gas cooler, a first refrigerant-air heat exchanger (7) operated as a first evaporator with an upstream first expansion element (8) and a second refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger (13) operated with a upstream second expansion element (14). The system (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e) is also equipped with a first coolant circuit (3) with the first coolant-coolant heat exchanger (6) and a second coolant circuit (4) with the second coolant-coolant heat exchanger (13 ) educated.
