An illumination system 10 includes a light source 13 capable of emitting biorhythm control light, a controller 14 that controls an illumination state of the light source 13, and a manipulation device 12. The controller 14 executes an introduction mode in which the illuminance of the biorhythm control light is gradually increased or decreasing the illuminance of the light source 13 over time, and a stationary mode in which the illuminance of the light source 13 is constantly maintained at the illuminance of the biorhythm control light. |
