abstract |
A passive electrical component having an indicator layer and a carbonaceous coating disposed thereon, wherein the carbonaceous coating (i) is a sol-gel coating or (ii) a plasma polymeric coating each having a carbon content measured at a depth of 80 nm remote from that of the indicator layer 50 to 100 at%, preferably 50 to 90 atomic% or as an organometallic coating having a carbon content of 2 to 50 atom%, each measured by XPS and based on the atoms detected with XPS. |
