abstract Multiple sensor devices include a heating element for heating a sensor element. The sensor devices are attached to connection pads (212, 213, 215, 216) of a plate (200). A supply voltage (VIN) is applied to all sensor devices to simultaneously heat the heating elements and sensor elements to an elevated temperature. The process waits for a predetermined amount of time in a test gas atmosphere until the sensor devices reach equilibrium. Then the sensor devices can be calibrated one at a time.
