abstract The invention relates to methods and apparatus for cleaning and disinfecting textiles, especially textiles formed by cavities, wherein the textiles are inserted through an opening in a chamber formed by a housing, wherein heated or cooled air introduced into the chamber and then is irradiated with ultraviolet light from a UV source and that by means of the UV source ozone is generated in the chamber and a disinfection and cleaning of the textiles takes place and that in the chamber by means of a suction alternately a negative pressure is generated up to a vacuum, by means of which a dissolving of contaminants in the textiles and a removal of dirt particles done.
