abstract A thermoplastic polyester-polyurethane with shape memory properties is proposed, which contains hard segments and crystallizable soft segments. The hard segments contain polyurethane units which have been obtained by polyaddition of the isocyanate groups of a diisocyanate with the hydroxyl groups of a first diol serving as a chain extender; the soft segments contain polyester units which are linked to the isocyanate groups of the diisocyanate of the hard segments by polyaddition of corresponding polyester diols with the latter. The polyester diols have been obtained by polycondensation of the hydroxyl groups of a second diol with a dicarboxylic acid or its derivatives. The polyester diols of the polyester units of the soft segments have an average molar mass between 1500 g / mol and 10000 g / mol, the switching temperature of the polyester polyurethane being at least 50 ° C. and the mold fixing temperature being at least 20 ° C. The invention further relates to a method for producing such a thermoplastic polyester polyurethane and a polymer molded part made therefrom.
