abstract The invention relates to a method for diagnosing a moisture sensor (104) of a vehicle (100), wherein water is detected on a surface by use of a sensor device (102), and if water is detected on the surface, a measured value of a humidity of the moisture sensor (104) is detected is compared to a lower threshold, wherein at least one measure is performed depending on a result of the comparison. The invention further relates to a computing unit and a computer program for carrying out the method.
