The invention has for its object to provide a protective glazing, which is as long-term stability against degradation at high temperatures. Thus, one application of the invention is vitrification of an oven with pyrolysis function. For this purpose, a protective glazing (1), provided, comprising a glass or glass ceramic pane (3) transparent in the visible spectral range and having two opposite side faces (30, 32), such as on at least one of the side surfaces (30, 32) a coating (5) which reflects infrared radiation, the coating (5) comprising a first layer (7) on the side surface (30, 32) and a second layer (9) which is deposited on the first layer (7), and wherein the first layer (7) consists of a doped transparent conductive oxide and the second layer consists of an X-ray amorphous oxide layer. |
