The invention relates to a method for filling a pressure vessel, preferably for a vehicle, with a filling gas, comprising the following steps: providing a pressure vessel filled with a starting gas, and displacing the starting gas from the pressure vessel by filling a liquid into the pressure vessel and then displacing the liquid from the pressure vessel by filling the filling gas into the pressure vessel, or displacing the starting gas from the pressure vessel by filling a foam, formed from a liquid and the filling gas. |
