titleOfInvention | Tubing / connector assembly |
abstract | A hose / connector assembly (1) has a hose section (2) for specifying a fluid channel section, a hose connector (3) and an overspray section (5). The hose connector (3) serves to continue the fluid channel section and to connect the hose section (2) to an external hose (4). The tube section (2) has a material composition containing silicone and BaSO 4 . The hose connector (3) is connected in a fluid-tight manner to the hose section (2) via the overmolding section (5). The latter covers a transition (6) between the hose connector (3) and the hose section (2). On the one hand, the overmolding section (5) is connected in a fluid-tight manner to the hose connector (3) and, on the other hand, in a fluid-tight manner to the hose section (2). The overmolding portion (5) has a material composition containing silicone and BaSO 4 . The result is an assembly whose applications are improved, especially in the field of medical application or an application in which it depends on biocompatibility. |
