| abstract | The invention aims to improve the sealing ability at overlapping portions of a waterproof sealing material in a housing in which a board of a base, a cover and a connector housing is hermetically received. A cover is provided with: a third concave sealing surface portion forming a third sealing gap between the cover and the base; first concave sealing surface portions provided in cover-side trapezoidal oblique side portions, in a first sealing gap between three sides of a trapezoid of a connector housing, the end surface thereof having a trapezoidal shape; and inclined pad portions which are part of the trapezoidal oblique side portions. A waterproof sealing material is applied to the first sealing gap surface. Thereafter, in disposing the connector housing, thinning of the waterproof sealant material by scraping it off is compensated by a filling end portion of a waterproof sealant material applied to the inclined pad portions. Thus, the sealing ability is improved, while a simple construction of the shape of the connector housing and the cover is possible without the need for auxiliary sealing grooves. |
