titleOfInvention | ATR spectrometer |
abstract | The invention relates to an ATR spectrometer with an ATR crystal (1), which has a frusto-conical portion (3) and two planar, mutually parallel surfaces, an emitter (11) which is arranged electromagnetic radiation (13) via one of Surfaces and substantially perpendicular to the one surface on the lateral surface (16) of the frusto-conical portion (3) to emit, wherein the lateral surface (16) is adapted to reflect the electromagnetic radiation (13) on the one surface, so that the radiation ( 13) under multiple reflection at the two surfaces in the ATR crystal (1) is spreadable and then by means of a reflection on the lateral surface (16) of the frustoconical portion (3) from the ATR crystal (1) can be coupled out, and a detector ( 12), which is set up to detect the coupled-out electromagnetic radiation (13), wherein the one surface has a coupling-in region (6) for coupling in of the radiation (13), which is the projection of a circumferentially extending portion of the lateral surface (16) onto the one surface, and the emitter (11) has a surface emitting the radiation (13), the projection of which onto the coupling region (FIG. 6) from the center (26) of a surface seen from an angle (α) sweeps over at least 1.5 °. |
