abstract | The present invention relates to hair treatment compositions having a pH between 3.5 and 5.5, obtainable by mixing a) 0.00001 to 20% by weight, based on the total weight of hair treatment agent, of at least one proteolipid of the formula (I) R'-XR "(I), in the R 'is a straight-chain or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon radical having 11 to 24 carbon atoms, R'' denotes a protein, a peptide or a protein hydrolyzate, X is -C (O) O- or -N + (R III 2 ) -R IV - or -N (R III ) R IV - or -C (O) -N (R V ) R VI -, R III is - (CH 2 ) x -CH 3 where x = 0-22 and - R IV is -CH 2 -CH (OH) -CH 2 - or - (CH 2 ) x - where x = 0-22; R V and R VI independently of one another are -H or - (CH 2 ) x -CH 3 with x = 0-22; with the proviso that R'' is keratin or a keratin hydrolyzate when X is -C (O) O- and b) 0.01 to 5.0 wt .-% - based on the total weight of hair treatment agent - magnesium citrate in a water-containing carrier. Such prepared hair treatment agents with magnesium citrate and certain proteolipids show an increased positive effect on the hair and the hair follicle and improved color protection performance of artificially produced hair colors. |
