Avoiding textile wrinkles |
abstract |
The curling of a cotton or other cellulosic textile should be reduced by a household-applicable process. This was accomplished by contacting the fabric with a water-based polyurethane dispersion as defined herein and subsequently raising the temperature of the fabric above the glass transition temperature of the polyurethane. The invention also provides the polyurethane dispersions, compositions containing them and their use. |
