titleOfInvention | Calculation of after-effects from affective reactions |
abstract | Methods, systems and non-transitory, computer-readable media for various crowd-based applications that use affective responses. One embodiment of the various embodiments discloses systems, methods, and non-transitory, computer-readable media for ranking experiences based on after-effects determined from measurements of affective response of users. The one embodiment comprises: a detection module configured to receive prior and subsequent measurements of the affective response of users to experiences; a post-impact ranking module configured to rank the experiences based on the measurements such that for at least a first and a second experience from the set of experiences, the after-effects of the first experience are greater than the after-effects of the second experience and the first experience is ranked higher than the second experience; wherein a difference between a subsequent measurement and a previous measurement of a user who had experience is indicative of an after-effect of the experience on the user. |
