Described is a cellulosic molded body having distributed therein physiologically active mineral compounds which are bound in the cellulose matrix of the molding and homogeneously distributed over the cross section. The mineral compound is soluble in water, containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, copper, manganese and zinc. Even after repeated washing, the cellulose molding still contains a high proportion of the mineral. It preferably takes the form of fibers, filaments, films or spunbonded nonwovens of these fibers. It is intended in particular for topical purposes on the human skin, especially for cosmetic or dermatological purposes. These molded articles can be made into fabrics, laminates, composites and nonwovens, alone or in admixture with other molded articles and fibers. |
