abstract |
The invention relates to a reactor (R) for carrying out a reforming method and to a reforming method, wherein the reactor (R) has a first combustion chamber (B1) and a first catalyst bed (K1) in fluid communication therewith and a first feed device (Z1) for introducing Hydrocarbons (1) and oxygen (2) in the first combustion chamber (B1). Characteristic of the invention is that the reactor (R) at least one arranged downstream of the first catalyst bed (K1) and in fluid communication with this second combustion chamber (B2) with a second feed device (Z2) and a downstream of the second combustion chamber (B2) arranged and in fluid communication with this standing second catalyst bed (K2), wherein via the second feed device (Z2) oxygen (5) into the second combustion chamber (B2) can be introduced. |
