abstract The invention relates to a device for the filtration of samples for determining the organically bound halogens adsorbed on activated carbon using a sample receptacle for the samples produced by the shaking method, the filter having a filter for removing the organically bound halogens adsorbed on active carbon at the foot of the sample receptacle. The device has at least two sample receptacles formed as open cylinders, wherein each sample receptacle is associated with a vessel holder for mounting on a common linkage. Below each sample receiving vessel, a filter receptacle is positioned such that each sample receptacle is movable between a first position and a second position. The filter receptacles is a pump for sucking the samples is assigned by the respective filter holder held by the filter. The common movement of the sample receiving vessels between the first position and the second position and vice versa is brought about by a movement of the common linkage.
