abstract | The invention relates to a method for processing a first gas mixture containing predominantly neon, nitrogen, helium and hydrogen, in which, in a first processing step, the hydrogen contained in the first gas mixture is at least partly in a catalytic adsorptive purification device (10) to the first gas mixture added oxygen is catalytically converted to water, which is separated leaving a predominantly neon, nitrogen and helium containing second gas mixture from the first gas mixture, at least a second processing step in at least one separation device (20) at least nitrogen from at least a portion of the second gas mixture is, and at least one, in the at least one second processing step obtained neon-enriched or neon-rich gas mixture at least temporarily a low-pressure accumulator (3) is fed. It is provided that the content of the low-pressure accumulator (3) is at least partially supplied to the first processing step, and the second gas mixture is supplied to the second processing step, bypassing the low-pressure accumulator (3). An apparatus (100) set up for carrying out the method is likewise the subject of the invention. |
