titleOfInvention Process and plant for wastewater treatment
abstract The present invention relates to a method and a plant for wastewater treatment to produce biogas with a device using only two reactors, which are connected to each other, and in which a partial flow recirculation takes place from the second to the first reactor. The process can be divided into three phases: 1. Process phase: organic degradation and biogas production in the fixed bed reactor (anaerobic); 2. Process phase: nitrification and degradation of the remaining organic matter and removal of phosphorus compounds in a trickling filter (aerobic); and 3rd process phase: denitrification and aeration sludge degradation by partial flow recycling in the fixed bed reactor (anaerobic). Similarly, the present invention relates to a plant for biological purification of wastewater, which is suitable for use of the method according to the invention.
