abstract |
A capacitor including a solid electrolytic capacitor element comprising a sintered porous anode body, a first anode terminal, and a second anode terminal is provided. The first anode terminal has a thickness that is greater than the thickness of the second anode terminal. A part of the first anode terminal is embedded in the porous anode body, and a second part of the first anode terminal extends longitudinally from a surface thereof. Meanwhile, the second anode terminal is electrically connected to the anode body for connection to an anode end portion. In one embodiment, the second anode terminal may be directly connected to a face of the anode body. In another embodiment, the second anode terminal may be indirectly connected to the anode body, such as via attachment to one end of the second portion of the first anode terminal. |
