The present invention relates to a method for combustion of an electropositive metal with a fuel gas, wherein the electropositive metal as a liquid or as a powder with particles having a particle size of less than 100 microns from a container by atomization of a carrier gas in a flow direction of the carrier gas in cross section first tapered first nozzle sucked from the container into the first nozzle, atomized from this and burned with the fuel gas, and a device for carrying out the method. |
