titleOfInvention Apparatus and method for detecting and quantifying single-stranded target nucleic acids
abstract The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for the detection and quantification of single-stranded target nucleic acids. The device comprises at least one solid support on which at least one double-stranded capture oligonucleotide and at least one double-stranded reporter oligonucleotide are immobilized. The capture oligonucleotide comprises at least a first oligonucleotide sequence which is partially complementary to a target nucleic acid and the reporter oligonucleotide comprises at least a second oligonucleotide sequence which is partially complementary to the target nucleic acids. Furthermore, the device comprises a readout unit for reading out a label of the reporter oligonucleotide on the carrier.
