abstract The invention relates to a method for determining a complex sensitivity factor of an RF receiver coil (8a, 8b), which is part of an arrangement of a plurality of RF receiver coils, which are designed for the simultaneous acquisition of magnetic resonance spectroscopy data, comprising the steps: a) simultaneously acquiring FID signals (20, 22) from a volume of interest with each of the plurality of RF receiving coils (8a, 8b), one of the RF receiving coils (8a) as a reference coil and its FID signal (20) as Reference signal is called; b) determining a complex sensitivity factor for the RF receiver coil (8b) by minimizing the differences between a plurality of data points (25) of its FID signal (22), as viewed with the complex sensitivity factor, and the corresponding data points (24) of the FID signal (FIG. 20) of the reference coil.
