titleOfInvention Method and device for purifying biological molecules
abstract In a method and a device for the purification of biological molecules, in particular of nucleic acids or proteins, at least one filter (50) is used. At least some of the liquids required for process control are pumped through the filter (50) in a circuit (51). In this case, first a liquid with biological cells is pumped via the filter (50). The cells retained on the filter are disrupted. To bind the biological molecules to the filter binding buffer in the circuit (51) is pumped through the filter (50). A wash buffer for purifying the biological molecules bound to the filter is pumped via the filter (50) so that the biological molecules bound to the filter are available for further use.
