CONTINUOUS COALESCENCE PROCEDURE |
abstract |
Methods are disclosed for continuously coalescing particles from a slurry of aggregated particles. The slurry of aggregated particles is heated and then coalesced by raising the pH. The coalesced particles are homogenized and emerge as a slurry of coalesced particles. A multiple screw extruder is used for coalescing. These methods are useful in providing coalesced particles such as toner compositions. |
