abstract |
A composition for use in the permanently hydrophilic finish of textile fibers and fabrics made therefrom consists of a hydrophilic modified or amphoteric polydimethylsiloxane in an amount of 3-30% by weight; a quaternary ammonium compound in an amount of 25-85% by weight, said quaternary ammonium compound having a melting point of at least 55 ° C; a fatty alcohol having a melting point of at least 60 ° C in a proportion of 0-25 wt .-%; a nonionic bodyier in an amount of 0-40 wt .-%, and at least one dispersing aid in an amount of 0 to 10 wt .-%. The composition is in the form of granules with a melting point of at least 45 ° C. |
