abstract A recharging device for performing a brachytherapy treatment, comprising a first elongated flexible transport element within a first catheter arranged to move a radioactive radiation source between a storage position within the recharging device and a treatment position outside the recharging device, the recharging device further comprising a second extended flexible transport element within a second catheter having at least one transducer, wherein the second transport element is arranged to move the at least one transducer between a first transducer position and a second transducer position, and wherein the second transport element of the afterloading device is arranged to the at least one transducer to a storage position to move within the afterloading device.
