abstract | The present invention relates to a device for producing embolisate particles which comprises a micropipette for the production of free-radically polymerizable droplets. The droplets open into a central channel, in which the droplets are carried away fluidically from the exit opening of the micropipette. In this case, a first, possibly incomplete, radical polymerization of the droplets is already induced after exiting the exit opening of the micropipette. In the leading away from the exit opening of the micropipette central channel takes place an additional acceleration of the droplets or particles, wherein it can be prevented that the droplets influence each other. As a result, a precise adjustment of the particle size distribution can be achieved by avoiding coalescence of the embolization particles. Optionally, a further postpolymerization of the particles takes place finally. |
