abstract | The invention relates to a method for producing at least one nanopore (28) with a predetermined diameter for sequencing a biopolymer (30). In this case, the method comprises the provision of at least one electrode (10) and at least two nanoparticles (16, 16 ') in an intermediate space (14) between the electrode (10) and a limiting component (12, S1) opposite the electrode (10). This is followed by coating at least the electrode (10) with an electrically conductive material and thereby mechanically fixing the at least two nanoparticles (16, 16 ') in the intermediate space (14) so that a fixed porous arrangement (24) is formed (S2). The filling of the fixed porous arrangement (24) with the and / or a further electrically conductive material makes it possible to set a predetermined diameter of at least one pore (26), thus forming the nanopore (28, S3).
