The invention relates to the selection and production of temperature-resistant polyester films for metal lamination (Can-Liner) and the packaging of food, such as these foods in an oven z. B. to cook a microwave oven, without first removing the food from the packaging. Suitable for this purpose are polyester films which are produced from antimony-free polyesters and contain free-radical scavengers. Such films have a high temperature resistance, so that packages made from them (eg fried bags) can remain in an oven at temperatures above 180 ° C. for more than one hour without becoming embrittled. |
