Method for generating a plurality of measuring ranges on a chip and chip with measuring ranges |
abstract |
The invention relates to a method for generating a plurality of measuring regions (16) on a chip (11) which is provided with electrodes (not shown) for the electrical detection of reactions. In order to reliably separate the individual measurement areas (16) (spots) from one another, according to the invention a monolayer (12) made of a fluorosilane is formed on the chip surface (13), which has highly hydrophobic properties. Therefore, when spotting with liquids (20a, 20b), it can be reliably prevented that the spotted liquid droplets unite and thus lead to a mixing of the substances in the liquid droplets which are to be immobilized on the measuring regions (16). The invention is also a chip (11) which can be produced by the specified method. |
