titleOfInvention Process for separating fluorinated organic compounds from contaminated fluids and adsorbent kit used therefor
abstract The application relates to a method of separating fluorinated organic compounds from contaminated fluids by means of a kit comprising a first and a second adsorbent component. Here, first, the first and the second adsorbent component are provided. The second adsorbent component is a solid adsorbent; the first adsorbent component is a chemical compound containing a lipophilic group and a hydrophilic group, or containing such a compound in dissolved form, wherein the hydrophilic group contains at least one cationic group and wherein the lipophilic group is selected from alkyl groups containing at least one octylene unit include aryl groups and aralkyl groups. Subsequently, the contacting of the contaminated fluid with the first adsorbent component and the contacting of the fluid with the second adsorbent component takes place. Finally, the separation of the Adsorbenskomponenten done with the adsorbed fluorinated organic compounds from the fluid. The application also relates to the kit required for this method.
