The invention relates to a sensor (1) for the quantitative detection of an analyte in a sample (7) in which an optical behavior of at least one dye (2) dependent on the analyte is utilized for the quantitative detection. The at least one dye (2) is contained in a medium (3). A restriction means (4, 5) is provided to mechanically limit volume changes of the medium (3). Further, an osmolality in the medium (1) is set to be larger than the largest sample osmolality for which the sensor (1) is to be used. The interaction of the restriction agent (4, 5) with the predetermined high osmolality results in a greatly reduced osmolality cross sensitivity of the sensor (1). The restriction agent can be embedded in the medium (3) as a membrane, fleece, braid (5), fabric or grid. It may alternatively consist of a support plate (4) with a plurality of recesses (41), in which the medium (3) is arranged. Likewise, a corresponding measuring arrangement (100) is disclosed. |
