titleOfInvention stent
abstract Stent (1) in the form of a generally tubular body with a plurality of serpentine-like, annularly expandable elements (3), the serpentine-like elements (3) having arcs (9) at their first and second ends (8) pointing in the axial direction of the stent (1) have, wherein in the axial direction successive, serpentine, annular expandable elements (3) are connected to one another via connectors (4) which are arranged at the ends (8) of the adjacent elements (3). The connectors (4) extend in a non-expanded state of the stent in the circumferential direction of the stent and have a curvature in the circumferential direction, the curvature in the expanded state of the stent (1) in the circumferential direction is so great that the connectors (4) radially protrude outside over the circumference of the serpentine elements (3).
