The present invention relates to electrically conductive liquids based on diphosphonate complexes and their use in processes for the electrolytic surface modification of a flat metal workpiece. The invention further relates to the flat metal workpieces produced by this method and the use of the metal workpieces as a substrate for the formation of solid adhesive bonds with a variety of materials and for the absorption of liquid and solid materials. |
