titleOfInvention | Electrocaloric arrangement |
abstract | The invention relates to an electrocaloric arrangement., In which an elastically deformable, elektrokalorisches element between a first housing part, which forms a heat source, and a second housing part, which forms a heat sink, arranged or clamped or held between the two housing parts. On two opposite surfaces of the electrocaloric element, a planar electrode is formed in each case. The electrodes are connected to a controllable or controllable electrical AC voltage source or a pulsed operable electrical voltage source. The electrocaloric element is formed from an electromechanically coupled, in particular ferroelectric or piezoelectric material, and designed and dimensioned such that it lies flat against a surface of the first or second housing part when the electrical voltage is switched off, and it is applied to one of the electrodes of the electrocaloric element electrical voltage deformed so that it rests flat against a surface of the first housing part or second housing part. |
