abstract | The present invention relates to a novel process for producing mesoporous, nanocrystalline or amorphous metal carbonates or metal oxides as a film, fibers or powder, wherein the metal carbonates and metal oxides may also contain several, in particular two or more, different metals. The method is based on the evaporation-induced self-assembly (EISA) technique of micelles, in which metal precursors and micelle-forming template molecules are combined in a solution used for film deposition. According to the invention acts as a metal precursor, a chemical complex (metal precursor complex), which is formed in solution from the dissolved metal precursor and a complexing agent. The invention also relates to the metal carbonate and metal oxide films, fibers or powder which can be produced by the process of the invention and the use of these films, fibers or powders. |
