A process for producing a bactericidal layer on a base body made of titanium or a titanium-based alloy, wherein initially a biodegradation-stable calcium phosphate layer is deposited on the base body, wherein for the deposition of the bactericidal layer subsequently an electrochemical process is carried out in a first aqueous electrolyte, wherein first electrolyte, an aqueous solution with the constituents silver (I) phosphate (Ag 3 PO 4 ) and ammonium hydroxide (NH 4 OH) is used, wherein the main body partially or completely immersed in the first electrolyte, anodically poled and with a DC voltage less than or equal 500 V electrochemical reactions is subjected to the surface. |
