abstract A method is proposed for detecting a manipulation of at least one electrical line. The electrical line has a certain resistance and a certain capacitance and a specific inductance and couples at least two components. In a first step, a defined parameter is determined, which depends on the determined resistance and the specific capacitance or on the specific resistance and the specific inductance or on the determined resistance and the specific capacitance and the specific inductance of the electrical line. In a second step, the determined parameter is compared with a reference parameter for providing a comparison result. In a third step, a manipulation of the electrical line is detected as a function of the provided comparison result. As a result, a simple and inexpensive way to detect a manipulation of an electrical line is created. Furthermore, a computer program product and a device for detecting a manipulation of at least one electrical line are proposed.
