titleOfInvention | Solid electrolytic capacitor assembly with multiple anodes |
abstract | A capacitor assembly that is stable under extreme conditions is put in place. A capacitor assembly that can achieve high capacitance under extreme conditions while remaining thermally and mechanically stable. Even with such high capacitance values, good mechanical stability can be achieved by connecting several individual capacitor elements to the housing of the assembly. Without wishing to be bound by any particular theory, we believe that by using multiple elements, the surface area over which the elements are connected to the housing is increased. Among other things, it allows the elements to distribute vibrational forces that occur during use over a larger area, reducing the likelihood of flaking. The capacitor elements are also enclosed and hermetically sealed in a single housing in the presence of a gas atmosphere containing an inert gas, which limits the amount of oxygen and moisture supplied to the solid electrolyte of the capacitor elements. By combining the above features, the capacitor assembly can perform better under extreme conditions. |
