titleOfInvention | Infrared reflective concrete product |
abstract | The invention relates to an infrared-reflecting concrete product (10, 20, 30, 40 50, 60) in which in the matrix of the concrete infrared-reflecting nanoparticles (18) in a non-visible size range less than 150 nm, preferably less than 100 nm, in particular smaller than 30 nm, and especially between 5 to 10 nm. Here, a cover layer (14) of the concrete product of a cover layer concrete (16) and a core layer (12) made of a core concrete, wherein in the matrix of the cover layer concrete (16), the infrared-reflective nanoparticles (18) are included, and the core concrete an ordinary cement / aggregate / water mixture is made. The cover layer concrete (16) is produced by mixing the nanoparticles (18) in a cement slurry and applied to an already cast core layer (12). The core layer (12) provides substantially volume, shape and stability of the concrete product. In a secondary aspect, the invention relates to a cementitious mixture for producing a topping concrete for an infrared-reflecting concrete product. By mixing the nanoparticles in the top layer concrete, a high IR reflectivity of the concrete product can be achieved, the overall visual impression of the concrete surface is little to no impact and remains freely variable. |
