titleOfInvention Catheter device
abstract A catheter device for interacting with a circumferential tissue structure comprising an elongated primary catheter having an inner lumen extending along a longitudinal axis and having a distal end portion, first and second elongated secondary catheters each having a distal end portion and a distal one inner lumen, and each intended to be disposed in the inner lumen of the primary catheter so as to be movable relative thereto and exposed from a distal end portion thereof, and a first bending mechanism to engage the distal end portion of the first and / or the second second secondary catheter having a tendency to tend to assume a first secondary curved shape, wherein the distal end portion of one or both of the first and second secondary catheters is provided so as to be bendable by the first bending mechanism an arm area too form substantially transverse to the direction of the longitudinal axis of the primary catheter so as to assume the first secondary curved shape, the respective arm region being at least 4 mm or at least 5 mm or at least 8 mm or at least 10 mm or at least 12 mm in a direction that is radial to the longitudinal axis of the primary catheter, and wherein a free end of the respective arm portion points away from the longitudinal axis such that the respective arm portion, with a lateral outer surface thereof, forms a blunt end face extends transversely to the longitudinal axis of the primary catheter, and makes it possible to contact the tissue structure with the catheter device in a non-penetrating manner.
