abstract Process for the preparation of a monolayer of nanoparticles containing hydrophilic, positively or negatively charged ligands selected from the group comprising the compounds of the formula 1a, 1b or 1c: wherein Y is COO - , SO 3 - , SO 4 - , HPO 3 - , PO 3 2- or phenoxy anion or Y in the form R 1 R 2 R 3 A + B - , wherein AN or P, B an inorganic or organic anion, R 1 , R 2 , R 3 is alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, cycloalkynyl, aryl, heteroaryl, where R 1 , R 2 , R 3 can be linked together, X is S or Se, n is from 1 to 20, m is from 0 to 2, p is from 0 to 2, coated, the method being characterized in that the monolayer of nanoparticles is applied to the surface thereof by vertical, relative to the monolayer, immersion or emanation of a substrate, and wherein previously a monolayer of nanoparticles in methanol / dichloromethane is applied to the surface of the water and by means of Langmuir-Blodgett technique was tightly compressed on this surface.
