abstract |
The invention relates to a coated substrate (10), wherein the substrate (10) comprises an oxide layer formed by anodizing a PVD layer of titanium nitride or the nitride of a titanium alloy, the oxide layer substantially reflecting white light incident on incident white light. The invention also relates to a method for producing a white oxide layer using the following steps: A substrate (10) is provided. The substrate (10) is coated by a PVD method with titanium nitride or the nitride of a titanium alloy. Then, the PVD coating is anodized to form an oxide layer that reflects white light substantially white. |
