titleOfInvention Oxygen device as well as breathing air hose and fire protection module for it
abstract The invention relates to an oxygen device for delivering an oxygen - enriched breathing gas (12) to (a) a breathing gas source (14) adapted to generate the oxygen - enriched breathing gas (12), and (b) a breathing air tube (26) adapted to conduct the breathing Respiratory gas (12) from the breathing gas source (14) to a consumption location (36). According to the invention, the breathing air hose (26) has a detector wire (34) which is designed such that at least one electrical characteristic (R) measurably changes when the breathing air hose (26) is defective, in particular burns or is interrupted, and in that the oxygen device (10) is designed in such a way that the respiratory gas source (14) discharges breathing gas (12) into the breathing air hose (26) only when the detector wire (34) is intact.
