A process and plant for the production of synthesis gas from hydrocarbons and water are described. In further embodiments of the process and the plant, synthesis gases are produced in any ratio of CO to hydrogen and / or synthetic functionalized and / or non-functionalized hydrocarbons. By this method, a hydrocarbon-containing fluid can be converted to a syngas with a variable hydrogen content without generating appreciable amounts of CO2. As by-products, hydrogen and carbon can be further obtained in various forms. |
